Selling Your Items

How much can you give me for…

In order to make you an offer for your items, you will need to bring them in for us to look at. Unfortunately, we cannot give you an estimate based upon a picture or phone call.

Do I have to stay while you sort and purchase my items?

Yes! Our typical buying process takes only 15-20 minutes, and we ask that you stay in the store and wait or wait in your car while we sort your items. Please refer to our page about selling your items for additional information.

    Do I need an appointment?

    Yes.  You MUST call the store to request an appointment to sell to us.  We cannot accept buys on a walk-in basis.

    How long does the buying process take?

    Our buying process is first come, first served- the waiting time depends on how many buys are in front of you and how many items you bring. Typically, it only takes 15-20 minutes!

    When do you buy?

    By appointment only, Monday 10am - 3pm and the second Saturday of each month 10AM-12PM.  (HOURS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NEEDS - Please call us before you make the trip!)

    Where do I drop off my clothing?

    Please come in through the front door and we’ll direct you to the buying desk.

    Do you buy...

    Maternity? no

    Wedding/Prom/Homecoming dresses? no

    Vintage? typically no.

    Mink/genuine fur coats? no

    Children's clothing? no

    Here's what we buy and don’t buy. Please contact us if you have questions about your specific items.

    Do you offer authentication services?

    No - we don’t offer a separate service for authentication.  If you are selling to us, you must provide proof of authentication before we will consider your item for purchase.

    Do you buy replicas/knock-offs?

    No. It is against the law to sell fakes. We are very careful to authenticate every item we buy. We strive to maintain our excellent reputation in the community as a seller of authentic goods.

    Please do not bring us your replicas. We will never buy or sell fakes. It is illegal for you to knowingly attempt to sell us fake bags while claiming they are authentic.

    What items do you buy all year round?

    We are always looking for:

    • Handbags and accessories (belts, wallets, wristlets)
    • Jewelry (sterling silver/gold, nice costume such as Kendra Scott or Brighton
    • Shoes: sneakers, heels (close-toed, professional, or designer), cowboy boots
    • Business attire (blazers, slacks, work blouses)

    When do you start purchasing seasonal items?

    January: Best of all seasons, Designer Spring/Summer

    February – June: Spring/Summer

    July: Best of all seasons, Designer Fall/Winter

    August – December: Fall/Winter

    Your generous donations go to:

      Do you sell donated clothing/receive money or tax breaks for donated clothing?

      No, we receive no compensation or money for the items you donate. They are donated in your name on your behalf to charity, not in our name. We do not claim any donations or profit off of them in any way.
